I always thought blogs were a home for views and ideas outside the mainstream. I enjoyed the story of the client meeting and how generations use technology in the information age. Allen,

We're doing apologetics half the time. Great post. I find myself in the same position more often than not.

Send me more......... You are a pleasure not only to work with, but to also know. Thank you for sharing this with me. I didn't know that the 70-74 age group are hooked on using the computer. I guess all of those free library workshop sessions are paying off for the older folks. I'm happy that they're not being left behind! Thanks, again. My parents - part of the Silent Generation described - have broadband and email with friends and old coworkers (since they are now retired). They are still cautious about being too adventurous and their online browsing is limited to a select number of websites, but they have discovered they can share family photos and find news about church activities as well as pursue special interests like gardening, cooking (online recipes), and management of their retirement benefits - all at the click of a button. While they will never twitter or have Facebook profiles, they are now less intimidated by the Internet than their DVD player. Unlimited information that is also a conduit to community is a hard thing to resist, even for the biggest technophobe. Thanks for shining the spotlight on this report!
